Pizza
Ingredients
- 455g flour (dough)
- 1 tbs plus 1 tsp sugar (dough)
- 2 tsp salt (dough)
- 2 tsp instant yeast (dough)
- 2 1/2 cups whole milk (dough)
- 4 tbs butter, melted (dough)
- 15 oz canned tomato sauce (sauce)
- 1 cup water (sauce)
- 1 tsp sugar (sauce)
- 1 tsp dried oregano (sauce)
- 1 tsp dried thyme (sauce)
- 1 tsp garlic powder (sauce)
- 1 tbs olive oil (sauce)
- 1 tsp salt (sauce)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper (sauce)
- 1/2 cup (60-120ml) olive oil
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- toppings of choice
Instructions
Dough
- Combine the dry ingredients
- Add the wet ingredients and mix thoroughly
- Cover and let rise for 2 hours
Sauce
- Bring all ingredients to a boil over medium heat.
- Simmer 40 minutes, stirring frequently
Pizza
- Grease pizza pans and spread the dough onto them (this recipe is for 2 pizzas)
- Cover in sauce
- Cover in cheese and toppings
- Bake at 400F for 25 minutes
